M. Virginia (“Ginny”) Petrie, Esq. is a senior associate attorney at the firm and focuses on residential and commercial real property transactions and the representation of commercial and residential lenders. Prior to joining the firm, Ginny maintained a solo practice and represented sellers, purchasers, co-op and condo owners, landlords, tenants, and a residential lender. She negotiated office leases for small business corporations and closed transactions throughout Long Island, New York City and the Hudson Valley region.

Ginny began her career in New York City with Cutler Minikes and Fish, LLP, a real estate law firm specializing in real estate transactions and litigation, cooperative and condominium representation, and sponsor and investor offering plans. She was also associated with Parker Duryee Rosoff and Haft, PC, where she worked in the real estate department with a leading practitioner in the field of cooperative and condominium law and in the corporate law department where she assisted with public and private offerings, merger and acquisition transactions, and the formation of corporate entities.

Ginny earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Villanova University. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Real Property Law Section.
